05 Best Brand Experiences:

Unlike the previous year, 2005 was less about innovation in brand engagement and more dominated by polished big budget productions. The release of Flash 8 this summer resulted in heaps of experimentation which will mature and make the new year the most exciting yet.
Here are 5 sites that wowed us Armchairs in '05 - tell us what you think:

1: IKEA Dream Kitchens
Using Bullet time technology, the IKEA Dream Kitchens website wraps you in an exciting 360 degree retail experience like you’ve never seen before on the web.

2: ADIDAS Y-3
Like Jamiroquai's "Travelling without Moving" video, Adidas Y-3 challenges traditional web design with it’s gravity free models in a cube interface.

3: TOYOTA AYGO
To illustrate a concept of subscribing to a car and capturing its personality, the Toyota Aygo unsuspectedly unfolds through a mail slot.

4: CORPSE BRIDE:
It's an appetizer to the movie, a flawlessly executed website that invites you into the world of it’s characters.

5: SAAB:
This site pulls off making SAAB feel luxurious, wild, sexy and dangerous by mixing David Lynch-esque visuals with interactive media.
Branding Underwear

With names like Crack in the Back and Beach Bum, Marit Milien's Booty Couture has become a sensation. Featuring photography from the Swedish Åsa Tällgård and sound design from R&B artist Nate Butler, Armchair Media created Marit Milien's Booty Couture website.
Meet Miguel

Miguel Garcia is breaking some ground as the first non-design intern for Armchair. He's working with our Interactive Strategy and Business Development units and has already proven himself as a stellar researcher and idea guy. Miguel is a UC, Riverside business grad and has a "real" day job at the Princeton Review.
Anna is here

Say hello to our new design intern, Anna Addison. She's a Moscow native and Portfolio Center student who'll be working with us a couple days a week, lending a fresh perspective and a great smile.
Tree Toucher

'Tis the season to give. Bring back to life cold branches. The Community Food Bank of Atlanta requested a holiday card. We created some cold branches and made sure you'd get a unique tree on each regrow.
